Takhar Group is an internationally licensed collection agency, offering collection, tracing, and legal services. It was established in 1983 as a family owned business, which includes Takhar Investments Inc., Takhar Collections Services, and Takhar India. Takhar senior management has collectively 200+ years experience with various backgrounds to support the goal of being more than just a collection agency, but a comprehensive credit management company, dealing with all stages of the credit cycle and to be a professional resource for all of our clients.
We currently specialize in commercial/utility, cable television, medical services, loans, financial services, landlord-tenant, and professional industry collection groups. Our staff is experienced and trained in professional and effective collection methods that meet the Collection Agencies Act and Consumer Reporting Act of Ontario, as well as other Canadian provincial statutes, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in the United States.
The Takhar Group of Companies is owned and operated under President Hardy Takhar, and Vice-President Suki Takhar. Both are highly experienced in credit management, lending cycle, and collection agency environment. Blair Wettlaufer is the Manager of Operations, overseeing the supervision and training of collectors and legal staff, and management of our computer network and systems. He holds over 20 years experience in the credit and collections field.
